Capacitor Reference - Macintosh Quadra 840AV
The 840AV motherboard MUST be recapped before ANY use. The traces on this motherboard are more sensitive to corrosion than other Macintoshes. They're very thin, and especially on the version of the board with brown solder mask, it's very difficult to spot breaks and corrosion. Running a working board on the original leaky caps will accelerate the corrosion.
